Washington voters have been filling out their ballots and tossing them in the mailbox or dropbox since 2011. The state GOP's effort to overturn that in the name of security is misguided, according to the Seattle Times editorial board.
IMHO This is meant to suppress voting. It is not about security.

Josh Hawley thinks DJT is being victimized by anomalous court filings. Anomalous refers inconsistencies or deviations from the usual, normal or expected. For DJT legal filings are business as usual. He uses the courts for his own purposes. Court injunctions are part and parcel of his modus operandi.

To be clear: Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the US Constitution prohibits granting titles and restricts members of the federal government from receiving gifts, emoluments (payment, renumeration, bribes) from foreign states without the consent of the United States Congress. Congress? You're up.

I read U.S. customs tariff collections and related taxes in April 2025 was $15.4 billion; $6 billion increase compared to March. The article said daily collections on goods entering the USA increased nearly 40% and there was a 60% increase from tariffs. Will someone help me understand this?
