as someone who frequents bookstores (even without money), it is a dying business, but some bookstores can also sell to libraries, can they not? that could be a source of income that allows people to read the books without so much money, and you still get the money you would've for the books

my little siblings are turning 13 this year. there's only a 5 year gap between us, but they're a bit older than I was when Trump was voted president the first time. i'm not close to them at all, but i still hope they find the strength to get through this.
