Highlander in the Borders. Academic. Here for the RPG chat, mostly. Groggish. Emerged from the deep freeze a few years ago and trying to catch up...not interested in your political views, or trial by social media - take that to 'the other place', please.
The Empire books are amazing! Haven't read the latest one yet - but the first two are firm favourites.

Well, I only started it yesterday and am already about 130 pages in - couldn't stop. Which is a good sign! And good to hear that is holds up for the trilogy. Always great to find a new author like this 🤓

I’d say so, at least from what I’ve read so far - what do you reckon @fenrisgames.com?

I ordered mine from a company called Vistaprint and it wasn’t expensive - much less than the official ones - you can choose whatever font/text/ink colour/size you want, and there are thousands of images too (including lots of skulls 😏).

The other side of the clue was ‘A Gormenghastish fairy tale for adults’ and the ‘rules’ of the mystery books in the shop are that it has to have been published this year or last. Love it!

I’m kind of hoping it’s something to do with Alan Partridge 😂

You are completely forgiven! Not least for all the top TV tips, but also for letting me know about Jay Kristoff - the Vampire books are some of the best I’ve read in recent years, and I too hope for a TV version at some point…
