me here just wanting to share some old photos I took many years ago, have this adorably cute lil Spanish-built SEAT 600 D, it has the coolest seats ever put in a car! they're literally wicker like wicker baskets!! its meant for low-speed beach cruising!

The colors of Fall are so pretty this year, really happy to see them actually happening at the time they're meant to, vs last year where the hot season was so long they started turning yellow in late August/early September.
The colors of fall are upon this Maple tree, making its green foliage turn to bright reds and yellows.

Know what makes me laugh? how contradictory the questions are.... "how can we protect Canadians' IP while still enabling commercialization?" the very next question being "how can we strengthen AI companies in Canada with having things like liability mitigation (aka not being held liable for shit)

I was literally just talking about this a few ago in a discord server, how depressingly the only moral to the story for all nations that don't have them is that nuclear proliferation is apparently the only security guarantee of your nation's future.. and having no nukes is just asking to be invaded.
Sydney on Discord on the 17th of June 2025 said the following it's so fucking insane... just thinking things and being like hm, it's kinda impressive how last five years was the world demonstrating the need for nuclear proliferation like in what world is having nuclear weapons literally the only guarantee to State security?!?!?? Iran; doesn't have nukes, Israel attacks them without provocation and there's literally no reason not to as they cant' defend against it if they had nukes though, this whole "war" wouldn't even be happening as Israel isn't so stupid as to risk getting hit with a nuclear bomb instead it'd go more like what happened between India and Pakistan, where the whole world rushed to de-escalate the conflict so it'd not spill into a nuclear war Genuinely just fucking insane that we've gotten to a point that the moral of the story is that all countries on earth should rush to obtain nuclear weapons, or be the victim of aggression from a country that has them seriously trying to imagine a world where a country can say (and then act on) they're going to after the president of Israel and NOT have nuclear retaliation if they succeed

This is just one of many, *many* cases like this that were brought up in litigation/the major anti-AI SAG-AFTRA strike of 2023, the fact that thousands of actors found out that they were either sneakily having their contract give up their likenesses without compensation FOR ETERNITY/had done so.
A thread of tweets from an SAG-AFTRA union member(goes by "@fakesteezjobs" talking about the contract he refused to sign as a background actor in 2023 that caused him to join the historic strike action that year. it reads; I was digitally recreated for the upcoming Netflix movie Rez Ball and my first question was how are we going to get paid for repeated use of our likeness and I was never given a proper answer. Now I’m seeing the long term plans here and it makes sense, but not good sense. To my knowledge no one was paid extra for this and they were counting on public lack of knowledge on things like royalties and likeness rights. Background and PAs are generally the first and worst exploited by the business practices of studios so I can’t get upset at the PAs. and if they blacklist me from background, so be it. I’m more suited for speaking rolls and I’m trying to get in the union anyway. anyway near end rant but I love the opportunity to be part of anything creative that could reach people and that’s why we need union protection to not be exploited for work that we’re passionate about. Side note the production was done by @KingJames production co.
