I had a meeting this week with 3 stakeholders in a project. All black people. Towards the end someone said that black people need to change so that we can be more like our white counterparts… sigh. We gotta cut the shit.

Do your homework on the Freedman’s Bank and the $40M in deposits that black people lost due to abuse and fiduciary corruption. Imagine the wealth that could have been built on the interest earned. The money? It went to unnamed wealthy white men who were never held accountable.
