I sat in the sun and painted some rocks and water this morning.

Another sketchbook sketch! Also in watercolour with some pen.

Worked for an hour+ today, because stopping after the pencil drawing felt a bit sad. I guess one small rock isn’t a huge accomplishment 😂 but I enjoyed really diving into that one rock. (Metaphorically… diving into real rocks is a bad idea 😅)

Watercolour and fountain pen ink sketch in a small Stillman & Birn Zeta sketchbook. I’m trying to paint thirty minutes a day to warm up after a hard year that involves very little painting. But I love it and this felt good so 👍
