Has anyone seen strong demand for a specialized AI tool that can help with code analysis? Do existing tools suffice?

There are tools like CodeComply, which is being actively used. Expertise still needed to check and interpret the code compliance analysis.
May 29, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Are there #copyright implications of using #AI to help do your work? Some firms are being more conservative than others. Some are all in. A good legal framework is necessary to figure out the copyright issues. Regardless, the #fireengineer is responsible for the content of a report (for example).
May 29, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Will designs become more complex? Need to look at clientele, market evolutions, and architects to see where things are going. Architects will be making more iterative designs. FPEs will have to keep up with that.
May 29, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Time for another panel! This one is about where #FireProtectionEngineering will be in 10 years as AI continues to integrate into the field. Panelists are Peter Senez, Derek White, Corey Kinsman, Chris Lautenberger, Qianru Guo, Ralf Bruynninckx.

Up next is Michael Gollner to talk to us about #wildfire modeling. The situation is urgent to better protect people and structures from wildfire. But modeling is difficult and collecting data is tough because you can't get much data during the disaster.
