Taylor’s Little Get Away

Taylor walks through the snow, shivering and uncomfortable. They approach a gateway with the words ‘Get Away’ on it. The snow stops at the gate, past it is a summery oasis. A bird sings as butterfly’s flutter around the gate. Taylor Takes off their jacket, hat, scarf, and boots. Stretching out in the warmth. They step into the water, kicking it around happily and laughing. The laughter fades. “Ha ha yeah.” Taylor says to themself while rubbing their neck. They stand on a small wooden bridge, looking down. They lay down on the bridge, covering their eyes as they begin to cry. A snapping turtle and fish can be seen in the water below the foot bridge. “FUCK!” Exclaims Taylor as all the frustration breaks through. The tears streaming down their face, Taylor looks at their own hands. “Ok ok ok. Breath ok you’re okay.” They say to calm themself.
