Scorching day today after what feels like weeks of rain in SE Queensland. The creek is stunning. Water has cleared and has a blue tinge which is due to the manganese in the waterways.
Had a little jam tonight and a carpet python visited.

I have a live gig this Sunday. Nothing too sexy, just a solo acoustic gig. Tonight I sorted through the mess that was my lyric books, tidied and arranged. I condensed to 5 books. Originals, classics, 90s, party toons, and 60sretro/country. I only need 45 songs. There’s probs 250 so I have choices.

Bromeliads. These are super weird plants of great beauty and design. Nature sure has the edge on tandem magnificence.

Do you get uncomfortable when someone looks you in the eye? Are you offended? Challenged? Do you feel exposed or confronted?
Is it disrespectful?
If someone cannot look me in the eye I am suspicious of them. I think they must be hiding something. Am I too sensitive?
