On July 2, 1863 1st MN Volunteer Regiment saved the Union at Gettysburg. Today on this anniversary, a reproduction of their regiment flag was given special permission to fly over the MN State Capitol. A statue of William Colvill also resides in the Capitol. www.esquire.com/news-politic...
