I feel like I've been challenging myself to draw beyond my comfort zone a lot this year and it's interesting to find out what *can* I draw and what *can't* I draw. It's like finding a locked door on a dungeon level. You must be level 16 to draw a foreshortened fight pose from a low camera angle.

Unemployment is a terrible soul-sucking experience and I'm sincerely sorry for everyone in the industry waiting out this downturn, though when I see pictures of my former colleagues at the pumpkin patch during the weekday, it does look a lot of fun
