I find the fact that we’ve lived through so much history already in the last 20 years insane. Every time a book mentions Covid, Trump, or Obama I’m taken aback just because it’s something I was there for.

Who knew all I had to do to raise my participation was do the class reading?

I just had a bizarre dream that I ran for Governor and won, and then my opponent "died" of natural causes a month later, and I broke into his house to steal his suitcase because I always thought he had nice luggage, and he walked in on me leaving his house.

I think I'd like to aim to write 500 words or so a day on different topics from my random notes in Obsidian, but that sounds like a lot.

I've only been on here for an hour now, but I'm genuinely enjoying how relatively calm this feels to my other social media. I'm seeing a bunch of stuff about public libraries and maintaining public spaces right now, and I'm just at my desk going yay! This is the stuff I like to read!
