A Texas state senator is introducing a bill to erect a statue of Kirk at the Texas capitol because he was a "civil rights leader." I had to rewind to make sure I heard it correctly. The pendulum has swung so far to the right, I fear we may never recover.

That sounds a lot like Germany and a certain party that many joined to secure employment, ignoring what they were ultimately supporting. And, we know how that ended.

So her husband can put out the most ridiculous, unsubstantiated lies on social media daily, but if anyone says anything about them they don't like (even if true), they sue? People really need to fight back.

I don't think he thinks he is ever leaving. It is as if he is moving in long term, not just for four years. Considering I saw another post saying he has 2028 merch in the white house, this is very concerning to me.

When people told me I was overreacting when I said we would not have real elections again if he won in november, my response was always that they technically "vote" in Russia, too. That's exactly where we are headed.

The fact that so many of us never thought we would see this happen is one reason I think it did happen. As a whole, I think we took our democracy and way of life for granted and did not adequately protect and fight for it until it was too late. There is a lot of apathy here when it comes to voting.

She is a republican Texas state senator who was endorsed by Trump. She is really no better than he is.

It is utterly embarrasing that this is the president of the US. The fact that he spends so much time on social media is bad enough. Using his platform to criticize people SHOULD be beneath the office. Unfortunately, we have an entire regime that is basically a badly produced reality show.

If they are the same psychics that predicted he would lose in November, I personally wouldn't hold my breath. I think that is just wishful thinking at this point. I fear he is going to live forever, like the characters in Death Becomes Her. He does already paint his skin.

I lived in New York for two years in the early 2000s. I was more scared of the rats in the subway stations than the people!

I also stopped shopping at Target when they abandoned their DEI initiatives. I was a regular shopper who would easily spend $150 plus each trip, mostly on things I really didn't need. It's been much easier than I expected to stop shopping there, and I have saved a lot of money in the process.

I'm not sure many people, especially those outside of Texas, realize how diabolical Abbott really was about the vouchers. State congress had managed to push off the vouchers multiple times until Abbott helped get his own party members voted out who were protecting their districts from the vouchers.

What is your plan to stop him? So far, I've seen very little out of congress to stop anything this administration is doing. The American people are doing more than our elected representatives, in my opinion.

The minute elon called it a ponzi scheme, everyone should have seen what was coming. This is the process. Start the negative talking points so maga will buy in. Maga starts to repeat them and cosign their own demise. The question is, will they buy into killing social security. I'm not sure.

And we are paying El Salvador to imprison them for one year. If I did the math correctly, it comes to about $22k per person per year. I'm guessing there are some people out there who are just fine with their taxpayers' dollars being used for this.
