Why is it, for hours, people in my household are engrossed in whatever they are doing. The minute I put headphones in to listen to something, suddenly EVERYONE wants to talk to me?

Our truck decided to end the year by having the wheel bearing go out. Thankfully, we didn't lose the tire while at speed, but it won't be driveable until next week. Hopefully, this isn't the beginning of our 2005 Ram eating itself. -knocks on wood-

Why is trying to get everyone out the door such a trial? Do you have what you need? Do I have what "I" need... did we walk the dog... and now someone (not the dog) needs to use the toilet...

My son (14yo) managed to get toothpaste on his headphone. Yes, just one. How, you might ask? I have no idea. This sums up my life rather well lol

I hate how I can be living my life, and then the overwhelming feeling of Everything is Burning and we as a society are so fucked just comes crashing in. Then it's well, I gotta go to work, or be a parent, in this hellscape. This emotional roller coaster is exhausting.

Was struggling with my first post, so this is it. My husband asked me to run into Costco at 3:30pm on a Saturday at Xmas, to get him a rotisserie chicken. LOL Not until I see what the parking lot looks like! He decided a slice from Caseys was a better choice 😄💜
