I'm not sure as I rarely play games in the year they come out, but I'm sure I could find something given how monumentally e33 drops the ball in its last act. Though- "better story" is one of the least objective measures to hand awards out for. An embarrassing category if you ask me.

Not really story wise, but that's not really a metric most people measure games by and I understand I'm very strange about that.

Just gunna be honest, when matched against the 2012 prerendered announcement she looks pretty much the same. I'm not trying to discount your opinion I just genuinely don't see it.

Lara looks radically different in every new spin face wise- and it's always whatever the beauty standards of the age are instead of a constant vision if her design. Poor girl will never escaped being judged for her looks!

The unfortunate reality is most people don't know what they want. That isn't a put down or being said with resentment- people by and large genuinely don't know what they want, or really what they don't want. As such we can absorb opinions like sponges about things we are neutral about.

Pretty clear in the long run in both routes that she wasn't being totally honest about that.

You're literally describing the core issue that every social media platform uses algorithms to get around. Not everyone cares about, or likes the style of, or whatever. Also there are bots, for sure, but how much art do you see that mildly amuses you and nothing else? That's honestly the truth
