Things I miss about gaming as a kid:

🎮 Blowing into the cartridge which definitely helped and I won't hear anyone say otherwise!
🎮 Magazine demo discs
🎮 "Did you save?" as Mom hovers over the Power button
🎮 Obsessing over the game manuals in the car home
🎮 Trying to trap the butler in the freezer.

One of the downsides of heavily relying on blueprints that springs to mind is version control can get a little wacky. But being a solo dev or in a small team, this seems mitigated well enough. Do people recommend Perforce or Git for UE5? #gamedev #unreal #indiedev
