#wildflowerhour Slightly disappointed floraincognita identifies this as 'common' mallow. Would have preferred 'very special' mallow. It is very small though so maybe it is something else.

Very pleased to have woken up at 6.47 today instead of the usual 5am which leaves me feeling tired all day. It's still cool here too.

Had a super morning walk yesterday through the woods, culminating with hearing my dear daughter who's just started uni (not seen her for 6wks or so) talking rubbish and playing me a request (The Jam That's Entertainment) on student radio. Autumn colours and vitriolic lyrics contrasting nicely.

I rather like these flowers I put together today. First time I've added pitcher plants into an arrangement. Last of the dahlias before the weather gets them. #gardening #flowers
