I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

I just wrote to my MP to ask him to oppose the government policy on refusing citizenship to refugees who have arrived in the UK by unsafe routes. Why not permit safe routes into UK - that would undercut the smuggling business at a stroke. Prompted by Care4Calais refugee charity care4calais.org

Banning knives & limiting their sale will not solve the issue of youth violence. There are a growing number of guns in our cities! The only answer is the development of more caring & supportive communities, investment in youth work and a far more inclusive approach to education!
