Ruddy Duck. He and I both knew it was too cold to be birding.

Long-tailed Duck (male) appeared near Mason, OH a couple weeks ago. Beautiful, we got lucky as he was right on the edge of the shore when we arrived. This species is a peculiar sighting given these ducks prefer deep, open, oceanic waters.
