I'm reading Erika Hall's book about conversational design, and stumbled into thoughts about conversation in time.

I'm now on a tangent about how digital-human conversations occur in nonlinear time.

For the first time in a while I'm having a really good week. I'm seeing results at work (my lit review may be used in setting strategy, i'm getting to use/learn a new method) and I'm finding time to do pilates and pickleball. <3

Thank you, life. I needed some wins.

Just got through a presentation and literally wanted to be graded. What is wrong with me?

Umm... I just spent $14.33 on a bunch of ordinary green grapes.

I wish outlook would highlight the day I'm actually on in the week view. At this point I am startled twice a day thinking I'm missing tomorrow's meeting.

P.S. I no longer know what day it actually is anymore.

I had the best interaction this morning with a colleague; we were both taking notes on what each other was saying.

I'm hooked. This is my forever collaborator.

I love the transcription service for changing the word “data” to “dated”. Now all my user interviews are suddenly talking about having dated engineers. Haha

A year ago today I defended (and passed) my dissertation.

I’m in industry and sometimes I forget that I earned my PhD until someone mentions it. It was hard. I cried… a lot.

tonight I will celebrate.
