In fiscal year 2025, 21 detainees died in ICE custody making it one of the deadliest years in the agency's history.

My analysis of the deaths found the majority were men from Latin American countries, with an average age of 45.

The Department of Defense has approved a plan to detail hundreds of military lawyers to the Department of Justice to serve as temporary immigration judges.
