Barbados: Ex-BLP (centre-left) health minister and army officer Jeffrey Bostic was unanimously elected as the second President, succeeding Sandra Mason (*) on November 30th. He was jointly nominated by PM Mottley (BLP) and Opposition Leader Thorne (DLP, centre-left).

Guyana: Following a 2025 general election defeat, Former Opposition APNU (left|centre-left) Leader Aubrey Norton will not seek the presidency again and will step down from Parliament to focus on rebuilding APNU. Nigel Hughes has also resigned as AFC (liberal) leader.

Belize: Caye Caulker will hold a referendum on Oct 8, to decide on a local, regulated cannabis industry. The vote, approved by Governor-General Tzalam (*), follows a citizen petition but has exposed "weaknesses" in the country's referendum law, according to PM Briceño.
