Come on. Yes, Trump is the devil. But the DMC and Biden made a huge tactical error because of nostalgia and vanity, just like they did with Ruth bader Ginsburg. Everyone thought Hillary would appoint her successor and things would be great and discounted the risk of her staying in office too long.

They did, but Biden f***** everybody over when he ran for a second term when he was clearly not able to do so. You can't primary a sitting president and expect to win in the general. That's basic. The DNC should have done what Nancy pelosi did. Talked to Jill and get him to stand the f*** down

The 2020 was close and only consolidated for Biden after Bernie split progressives rather than rally strong Warren's early strong showing, which he then squelched. By the time the primary was done there was no effective choice but Biden.

But yeah, Harris was an imperfect candidate and not everybody’s favorite, however, she was a lot more feasible than anybody else and could have won if she had had a proper vice presidency, promised by the “bridge president” that never emerged. Biden’s vanity cost us so much..

All that is true, but it ignores the fact that there is,in fact, misogyny still in the Democratic Party. It was particularly true when Warren was running against Biden rather well, & Bernie decided that a woman couldn’t beat Trump so he jumped in & split the progressive ticket, sticking us w Biden.

No, it’s not embarrassing to be hopeful. It’s not cringe. American celebrity fills a role in society because we don’t have royalty. I agree it’s stupid. It’s not 4 everybody, but it’s important to the people who care about celebrities. Don’t buy the right wing. Shit celebrities can be useful tools.

No sorry, there is no revolution yet. Everything is being televised though, your right about that. I think finding less like threatening, more creative forms of sabotage is going to be attractive and effective to revolutionaries than direct confrontation, which they'll rightly regard as deadly.
