These policies aren't about trans people, it's about applying stereotypes to women. Telling women 'you must look like a woman to enter these spaces' is misogynistic, and that's what these bills are.

That's total BS. About 80% of detransitioners are so bc of societal pressure, and not every trans person has a mental health disorder relating to their identity
Trans people want to be loved like anyone else, but failing to recognise/ignoring the difficulties they face makes you part of the problem

Firstly I'm sorry to hear that, but arguing 'being trans is a step en route to suicide' is a very fucked-up hill to stand on. Trans people want one thing: To be happy as who they are, but society is constantly demonising them and using them as a scapegoat.

The CDC is under the Department of Health, so YES it's run by the Government. RFK, a notorious anti-vaxxer, is leading the DoH so expect a lot of backwards steps in public health.

The main reason why trans people suffer from depression is bc they know society hates them for wanting to be happy. Sure dysphoria is a thing, but given >80% of detransitioners do so bc of societal pressure, society is the bigger problem.

The claim that brains don't stop developing until 25 has been debunked as a myth - if anyone wants to stand by it, when will the age limit for drinking alcohol, getting a tattoo, enlisting for the armed forces, etc. be changed?
