Yeah, totally, refs with the game on the line

Except one team overcame a blatant DPI that wasn’t called with the game on the line

And the other had their tshirt get tugged a little and that’s just so unfair how

Bears and Lions have dealt with bad officiating and injuries all year btw

Now let’s make sure that heroic play doesn’t go in vain

Dude just saved our season for the time being, don’t fuck this shit up in OT.

They could buy us 100 tickets, I’m still not going to “Podfest”

It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a new set of cans but whenever I do, I always break em in with Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics

Which kicks off a playlist with an eclectic set of music to test them out

But Sweet Dreams is always first

And yes, I had the qualified players only filter on and Caleb, who has only three targets, somehow made it through that filter

And, yes, I did in fact bust out laughing when I saw him up top

Quick note on CROE

Basically like CPOE, CROE credits receivers for making tough catches and docks them for missing easy ones

Unlike CPOE, it is less likely to be influenced by factors outside the players control (please correct me if I’m wrong here)

On the note of how he opens his answer to that mailbag question

I mentioned CROE in my last thread when I talked about Rome and called out how Caleb’s CPOE is impacted by our receivers also

Solak’s initial quip has a good bit of truth to it

Here are the numbers

So, I’m still not concerned as I’ve seen growth and think it’s just part of the growing pains (eventually I will be if it keeps showing up)

But Denny is right to call it out

That’s too many misfires in one game

Anyway, Caleb’s issue seems to be his footwork from what I can tell

It gets sloppy at times when he’s either dropping back from under center, having to reset in the pocket, or is hitching to his next progression and pulling the trigger

It’s all stuff that wasn’t a part of his game before this year

NFL Pros CROE all but confirms my frustration with Rome this season.

He’s taken a massive step, I don’t want to take that away from him

But he needs to sure up those hands

He’s been more like his first couple years in college than his last year at Wash when it comes to that

Also, I stand by my Rome point, there were 2 passes that he should have caught

A third that looked like he settled earlier than Caleb expected, ball was still low so he had to reach and dig it out, still.. if Josh downs can make that catch, Rome should too

Don’t you group me in with them

Im not about to be the one that starts calebanon 😂

I think he has and continues to each week though, but I might just be a homer

Let me know if you think there’s something I’m missing here or disagree with

I came into the season thinking it was going to be rough early both mechanically and mentally considering.

If he didn’t look significantly more comfortable like he does now, and noticeably better already (FTN seems to agree here) by now, I’d call myself out for copium
