Grasp the nettle.
We've had enough info to figure it out, but we were also lucky to see it happen so we knew what was going on right away.

Yeah we just got on a nice old mk1 train that started at production headed to 22nd street. We left commercial on a millennium train just after the stall, and had to wait for a bit before an expo line showed up on the board... But it's there now.

I don't think they have bluesky... I saw a train stuck just before the commercial station, and they were disembarking passengers along the trackside walkway. I'm heading around the other direction now... Where are you trying to get to?

We need to build for deconstruction. Screws, clamps, or joints instead of nails. No glue or concrete affixed to wood. Consistent sizes/lengths. That kind of material isn't produced by current construction methods.

I think to make it practical the rules have to change for construction and also for deconstruction. Just the time it takes for human to deconstruct, handle and sort the the materials from a normal building (not even including denailing) means it's not cost effective.

Reclaimed will never be more than a specialty product until we change our building methods. The cleaning and prep costs too much. I marketed and sold reclaimed for almost a decade... It's cheaper to grow a tree. But reclaimed does make fantastic finishing and feature materials.
