When we were trying to have our first, we had a conversation about license to conceive. My mother was fostering a kid with a mom with recurrent drug issues and it felt so unfair.
Because men can procreate at any time, it made more sense to put the onus on them.
Maybe I’ll pull it out!

I actually toyed with a manuscript where men had to get medical clearance to procreate.
My husband said it was probably one to self publish since men wouldn’t want that idea in the world. 🤣🤣
