Tested on 116 hectares in Santibáñez el Bajo (Cáceres), it identified 1,254 tree units with 98.5% accuracy. Even 6-year-old #LiDAR data remains valid for current forest structure analysis, enabling large-scale automated inventories across Iberian dehesas.

The approach combines:
✅ #DBSCAN to segment tree units
✅ #Concaveman to delineate them with concave hulls
✅ 3D reconstruction via horizontal slicing to estimate canopy volume, total height, and diameter—with high precision.

It is a Tremella. It parasitizes other fungal species. In one of your photos you see some carpophores of what looks like Stereum, which the Tremella may parasitize.

Seems to be Stereum (may be hirsutum), a false turkey tail.

Seems to be Trametes. They are used in traditional Chinese medicine and in modern universal one.
