2Day’s fun facts: Russ Ford won 26 games in 1910, most in a season by a Yankee named Ford … Dineen and Gowell, former West Haven Yankees had very brief stints in NY. Gowell couldn’t pitch Sat night or Sunday for religious reasons, possibly curtailing promising career.
