I’m in your district and especially concerned about the plan to break apart the FDIC and strip away banking regulations. That does not save money or make us more safe.

They know that some of what they’re trying to do is not allowed. I think what they’re hoping is that they can keep it tied up in legal maneuverings long enough that the people working in these agencies will just leave. Then they get what they wanted regardless.
