Seemed the right colorway for the season. This is my first attempt using both a drum carder for blending and then a dizz to make a roving of that blend. Didn't work as intended but... ooooo rainbow. #yarnspinning #handspinning #spinning 🧶

Recently unearthed a WiP from, oh, 2006-2008? Bright Green baby alpaca top on a drop spindle. I finally feel comfortable enough to pick this back up. It is gonna end up S twist once plied so I may gift to a knitter. (I crochet) Or keep to weave? 🧶 #handspinning #yarnspinning #spinning

Picked up a new Turkish Drop Spindle yesterday at a Festival and now I am kicking myself for avoiding them for so many years. Winding the yarn into a turtle around the whorl arms is so satisfying. 🧶 #handspinning #yarnspinning #spinning

Splurged on a higher end blending board for a project I had in mind after I reorganized my wool for #yarnspinning. I still don't quite have the process down yet, but these colors remind me of Starry Night and I want to make yarn with that theme on my wheel. #handspinning #spinning 🧶

More rollag yarn progress. Got this happy little purple dragon ring distaff off Etsy. Perfect for stretched out rollags. Especially with this obnoxious mystery wool I bought ages ago that got felted in the dying process. I will be happy when I have used it up. #handspinning #yarnspinning #spinning 🧶
