No ours *is* functional! Because my family came here I grew up with the knowledge that in India we were at the bottom of the caste system a mildly interesting fact that never affected me in any way. Thats why traitors who want to tear it down rather than see brown people in the street are a problem

Tbf based on the 2022 election result it would be pretty absurd/humiliating for SD to take cabinet seats but accept Kristersson rather than Åkesson as PM which surely L could never live with

They also pioneered the fourth wall breaking stunt (“in the CGI age, we are going to actually tell the audience in advance in marketing that they’re going to see Tom Cruise jump off a cliff and he really jumped off that cliff”) you see quite a lot now eg the Oppenheimer nuclear explosion

Probably not but tbh it just has to keep investors happy for a bit (and they do think like, less then a decade) in these people’s minds before, they truly believe, they will build god

Assuming we’re talking about the UK Greens it’s impossible to say without knowing how many seats they’d have but they’d probably get their wealth tax and sanctions on Israel

Danny Kruger’s constituents specifically voted for a conservative mp and he denied them one. That is not particularly democratic.

What are you talking about? The deals aren’t shady they’re very public. It has a minority government, which is about to be hit very hard in the next election because that doesn’t stop voters blaming it for things which was your original objection

I suppose arguably even the Netherlands isn’t truly democratic since you need 0.67% but these things are a spectrum. Btw until 2024 FPTP wasn’t exactly friendly to independents either

That they were in a coalition and had to compromise. This political system is used all over the world and I don’t think the electorate of Sweden is crying out for FPTP

I understand I might be reacting a bit viscerally to this since my grandmother is literally a brown face in Handsworth, Birmingham but I would feel very uncomfortable at my IT job if a coworker said what Jenrick said, I don’t understand how this doesn’t trigger something in her
