I know I’m extremely late to the party, but I enormously enjoyed @tkingfisher.com’s Nettle & Bone. Just a terrific read about human characters who happen to be Princesses and Witches on a crazy road trip to kill a dude who has it coming. 5 stars from me, will read again.

The gift of some (very) ripe tomatoes meant i tried to make some sauce for the first time. More of a veggie sauce but super good. Not pictures, the giant zucchini that I added the less-seedy half of. It and the jally are from my garden. 🌿

I finished "The Last Hour Between Worlds" by Melissa Caruso and MAN was I hooked. Feels a little like someone had SO MANY CARDS TO SHOW YOU and couldn't quite wait for the next book (no, seriously it's probably a trilogy) but also I am SO ready for the next one

I have read, for surgery recovery and for the holiday, a typical romance novel I picked up out of a little free library. I ask. Are the straights alright? This book was Not Good and I finished it for the side characters and because I MUST. Now to read Piranesi as a cleanser.

With the exception of necessary mystery cleaning (that probably predates us living here because it was under the hinges) that was easier than anticipated. Toilet seat changed. 👍
