Last night's moon, captured with a Celestron 6SE and my old Canon T3i.

Because I couldn't get a sharp photo of the Moon and Jupiter together last Friday, I captured them separately and combined them into a single composition. You’ll need to zoom in to see Jupiter in the final image.

This is actually the correct orientation for last night's moon that posted previously. The image was right-side up but mirrored left-to-right because I was using a 90° diagonal adapter to connect my camera to the telescope.

I suppose the safest place for a stray cat to sleep and be protected from rainy weather is inside a pallet.

Last night, a shot of Jupiter and its Galilean moons was taken using my old ZWO ASI224MC camera through the Celestron 6SE. The moons order changes as they orbit Jupiter, so the arrangement you see will be different each night.

Since the rain won't stop here in Northern California, I'm sharing a 12-second video I took of the moon last year with my Celestron 6SE.

There is definitely no tennis today

In the late afternoon yesterday, I photographed the moon using my old white Meade 1000mm f/11 telescope and a Canon T3i camera. There will be no photograph of the moon today, as it will rain all day and all week. Happy New Year.

I went to Niles to play tennis, but the courts were wet. Instead, I took some pictures.
