Made this alongside @FIDDLEFORD11 (on twitter) and @ilovesonicmore.bsky.social (my fav moots <3) with a base we found online. Fiddles made the top one, I made the middle one, and Sonic made the bottom one and they are our alien OCs!

Logo Concept(s) "SMRK"
A logo Concept for a made-up-brand, SMRK. For the yellow version I made the head with that wide toothy grin to make it feel like something instantly iconic and very sticker/emote friendly, the letter style(typography) fits well with irreverent cartoon vibes(almost breakfast-cereal-mascot kinda), and the warm palette gives approachability before the "smirk" (both name and lil character) reveal the mischief in it's identity. For the blue version I went with a different balancing approach by placing the little mascot next to the S, that integration makes the mascot & wordmark feel inseparable, which is a powerful branding strategy and also controls how the balance of the overall design weights on viewers. The triangle-teeth smirk & half-lidded eyes land a “playful troublemaker” vibe with I had "fun" making(I redrew that smirk so many times). And the blue palette shifts the character toward a more fantasy/spooky charm instead of the classic cartoon style of the other one.
