I need to not doom scroll and rage skeet (what are we calling posts here? IDK) all night but GOD I'm somehow both furious and exhausted. I feel impotent. I did my part to keep this from happening and people I thought were smarter than they are (including some I love) wouldn't listen.

It was an honor to sign the guest book in the home of Anne Frank.
I was here as a younger man and thought about her life as a dark chapter of history.

The amount of doom available to scroll is terrifying, heartbreaking and absolutely infuriating. I just want the outside world to know that there are a LOT of us out here who feel like I do so even though it seems like "America" is fine with all of this - I assure you it's not all of us.

All over the bird site MAGA types are pointing to the fear and concern re: Medicaid (which my brother relies on) as "media lies." MAYBE, and call me crazy, if the administration had been more clear on what their cuts impacted people wouldn't be in a panic? I hate this timeline.
