First:Trump & Republicans want to lay off federal employees so that they can reduce government payout of salaries, taxes and benefits, but in doing so they drastically reduce the income collected from employees who are already paying higher rates as compensation for taxes not paid by the wealthy.

I take this opportunity to recognize the first American Pope, Pope Leo XIV, born in Chicago but he spent many years abroad doing missionary work. His address included sentiments of peace on earth, building bridges and emphasized focusing on the humanization of others. Yes, we need this focus!

Recently Joel Litman praised Elon Musk for his success in totally automating the federal government by replacing people with an AI program that Musk owns and operates. So thousands loose their jobs and citizens loose benefits and services while Musk collects from another govt program! Fight back!!
