This is really true. He has learned a lot over the years. If you read peace about domestic violence that he has sent on the islands off the coast of Maine, he's really done a very good job. His writing about the "magical black Negro" was really painful. But again- he has improved (former Mainer).

Do I completely trust that the Salvation Army doesn't discriminate against the LGBTQ community? No. But here in Ann Arbor I've talked to the people who work at the Salvation Army store. And they cover every aspect of that community. So I feel comfortable shopping there.
