1. AWAKEN. Relax, no stress.
2. CONTEMPLATE. The entire day is ahead of you!
3. REALIZE. Time has elapsed while contemplating. It is now nighttime.
4. FREAK OUT. Invent new swears, bemoan the world. Rinse/repeat next Sun. #dogsofbluesky

REACTIVITY, the R word I learned (the hard way) that comes with some rescues. Seeing the fear aggression switch flip IS UNREAL! Bowie & Bentley both have it to humans & dogs outside of “our pack”but are now AMAZING works in progress! Bowie passed his intro course tonight. Bentley is next in. 👍🏻

In memoriam, my beloved Bruce. Left us Sept 20, 2024 due to acute undifferentiated leukemia. He was only 7. His sudden illness and passing remains a shock but we are so incredibly lucky and thankful to have shared in his life. So many wonderful adventures and comforting memories continue on 🌈🦊❤️

Bowie was also from Cairo via Golden Rescue & also waited for a while. His bio kept coming up but showed he did not like other dogs. His foster is a dog trainer who had Bentley. He allowed us the opportunity to safely trial a stay. It was not easy at first but with patience he overcame his fear.

Bowies’ interests include sharing his toys 110% of the some(times) and being a professional hat model (at home).

Introducing Bowie (B-oh-ee). He enjoys long walks on the beach and looking fabulous (and a smidge unhinged) in ever photo ever. #dogsofbluesky

Bentley came from Golden Rescue early 2022. My original golden Bruce (red) needed a sibling. Bentley is from Cairo & had been waiting a year+ to be adopted. His bio mentioned he was a biter (of humans) but loved other dogs. Perfect! Spoiler alert, there was biting (of me) but fingers grow back.

Bentleys’ interests include (but are not limited to)…eating, playing hard and being chauffeured.
