Dear Canada-
Please accept our deepest apologies from all decent Americans embarrassed by the obnoxious trolling from our man-baby-in-chief who is lacking in both intelligence & any impulse-control whatsoever.

Three hundred of America's wealthiest individuals have asked Congress not to pass 45/7's tax cuts for the wealthy. They called the cuts "cruel" and "unnecessary," and argue that the wealthy should be taxed more, not less.

Every age has its heroes, who labor to do the right thing.
Mark Milley. James Boasberg. Tammy Duckworth.
Be heroic, friends. Do not be conformed to the easy path.

I am hearing that Tim Walz posted the President Musk is an idiot.
It made a White House staff member really angry.
So perhaps we need to amplify Gov Walz's insight.

Christ the King Sunday

As we find ourselves in a moment when Christian Nationalism—that abomination that equates the dominance of a racially narrow understanding of America with the kingdom of God—is again ascendant, this feast is as important as it has ever been.

For a generally lazy, I mean laid back, cat, Gray has been very motivated to push out the door this week. Today he escaped into the front garden, til I grabbed him and carried him back inside. With no claws (he is a rescue and came to us this way), he is not suited to outside life.

This morning, Gray the Cat ran out the front door to chase a blue jay who may have been taunting him. He is oblivious to the danger of being a clawless, pampered housecat in a cold New England town. Eejit.
