I feel like we are in a Catch-22 simulation.

NYT failing us, again. What triggered the “unrest,” NYT? Why was there a “confrontation” between protestors and federal agents? Was the forced deployed on both sides equal? Was there, in fact, any force deployed against federal officials at all?

I have been thinking about this so much. Especially as a Minnesotan, this is the first time really we have been in such an adversarial position with the federal government. And it is a righteous fight.

Gave the last lecture today for my first semester as lead instructor for IPE @ UW-Madison. It was generally a blast and I had lots of very engaged students. Cheers to the end of the semester 🥃

I won't claim to rival @mcopelov.bsky.social's "Definitive IPE Playlist" but we did do a mini "IPE Eras Tour" that is coming to an end today. Relieved to report I have lots of Prince fans in class, devastated to learn I had zero takers on Willie Nelson *OR* Motown.
