Okay, seriously, knitters known and unknown, “why do we make bottom up sweaters”?
This seems to me to be the biggest pain in the bottom since purl three together. And by that I mean I dropped almost as many stitches trying to join sleeves as I had left on the needles.
Why?

Why yes, no problem, I can definitely work with a new fiber and do split rings for fun. This is totes fun. Totes.

Doll sweater. Cast on 202 stitches.
Yes. That’s about three times more than normal. It’s a ruffle. But still a lot of stitches with a very slippery yarn and ultra smooth needles.
New soap to watch though, so it’s all good.

There are six ends to sew in so far. I am unsure as to HOW this can be called seamless. I guess because I am picking g up stitches left right and center.
The new “tube of silicone used to hold stitches like waste yarn” is absolutely making this easier as it make only 6 ends. Not 8. Seamless.

Did I learn how to do a proper CDD? Yes thanks to very pink knits tutorials. Have I decided that this yarn splits too much for slipping 2 stitch’s over one? Also yes. At least this is consistent.

Top variation, smaller needles. Bit big, but not too much. Done with the pattern. The lace is not fun, and I can’t seem to get a good fit.

I do not like the back at all. It’s supposed to be a dress but I used smaller thread and needles to fit the Disney doll. I love the fit except the back. I think I am going to do the 5 stitch band all the way down, and add one button right above the lace.

I am using the sparkle frixon you sent me years ago. Frixon and knitting patterns are my go to. (Unless I am using an erasable color pencil)
