It’s that time of year. When I buy ridiculous Broncos things at the grocery store. Really wishing I asked the guy with the awesome Casa Bonitto T-shirt at the stadium where they got it bc it was so much cooler than what I’m finding online.

I appreciate my daughter's deep love of Halloween that caused her to buy a plane ticket to fly home for the weekend to celebrate with her local friends since so many at her college go home most weekends (which just perplexes me & was not something I even knew to look out for!)

My teenage son has not been known for his gift giving prowess so far in life, but yesterday he gave my husband and I these ornaments for our 20th anniversary. So I think he's upped his game all of a sudden.

I saw the Blue Lock movie awhile back with my son without having seen any of that anime. It worked out! I feel like I might be doing the same with Demon Slayer - but likely not with my son who will be seeing it with someone cooler this time LOL

I was the "problem person" who insisted they should give me a respirator in the Hollywood vaults - some of the old timers were not very kind about that! Years later I heard everyone was using them though - haha. Except for that part I loved my time there - still know people there!

60 years of film preservation at the UCLA archive! Way back when I worked there as a film archivist. Sweating it out in the Hollywood vaults inspecting nitrate film cans we all hoped wouldn't get too hot and ignite LOL (not funny, but true).

This sums up the cruel making-shit-up nature of the Trump administration as much as anything. Not only is this incorrect according to scientists but he uses the brand name (hello, lawsuit) & rants about 'toughness'. That man couldn't handle one mid-level period cramp.

Today one of my son’s friends who goes to another high school and was home sick texted him that his school was in lockdown. It was a false alarm. But neither of them knew that at the time. And he told me this like he was telling me about a school assembly - because it’s so normalized here.
