New #pleinair oil painting of Lambarfoss for #waterfallwednesday I painted this on location during our trip to Husafell last month. I was hiking around lambartungur and came across a little track which led me to this beauty!

An old #pleinair sketch from a trip driving around Fljótshlíð. Looking owards Þórsmörk there was some some stunning light, illuminating the distant glacier and mountains in this warm hazy mist.

NEW mini oil painting, available framed and mounted. On the shoreline in Vesturbær, looking out over the sea towards Keilir, the evening sky was bathed in pink light creating a beautiful palette of purples and blues.

Plein air painting in Þingvellir national park. 🍂Managed to find the last of the autumn colours after gale force winds stripped most of the foliage 😭 Autumn never lasts long here!

Here Sveifluháls in Krýsuvík is shown at sunset, as the last rays of sun hit the top of the peaks. I love capturing these beautiful moments in the Icelandic landscape.

📢 NEW painting! I was on my way out of Krýsuvík when I saw the low warm sun hitting Vatnshlíðarhorn. The colours were so stunning that I slammed on the brakes (joking) but I did pull over & paint some colour notes which I then used to create this #landscapepainting
