In Amy's memory, we work to inspire young people and to build their self-esteem and resilience, so they can flourish.
Our volunteer Matt has been there—and now he’s giving back. Using his journey through recovery to help young people make better choices, in schools across the UK.
#VolunteersWeek2025. 💜

Claire's story is one of strength and purpose. 💜 During #VolunteersWeek, we’re proud to share how she uses her lived experience with drugs and alcohol to support young people, through our Resilience Programme for Schools.

This #VolunteersWeek, meet Matt—one of our Resilience Programme for Schools volunteers. He's turned his own experience with addiction into something powerful: helping young people stay safe and make better choices. 💜

Today we were devastated to hear that our dear friend Paul Danan has passed away. He always championed our work, and volunteered as part of our Resilience Programme. Here he is on our programme launch day in 2013, with some of our volunteers. Such a beautiful soul. RIP Pauly ❤️x

This week we’ve seen great engagement from yrs 7, 8 & 9 pupils at Sandymoor Ormiston Academy
in #Runcorn.

Our volunteer Sarah shared her personal experience of #addiction starting with #nicotine from a young age.

Pupils then participated in smaller workshops to understand issues around #vaping.

As #AddictionAwarenessWeek2024 ends, we want you to know that it's never too late to ask for support.

And also, it's never too early.

If you feel you can't reach out for help because you're too young — you can. People will listen. People will help.
