Once my husband made the gravy with vegetable stock, which he made in the instant pot. The vegetables used for the stock included beets.
Red beets.
The stock was as red as blood. He used it anyway, figuring the roux would tone down the color. Reader, the resulting gravy was fuchsia.

I barely post at all, yet almost every day I get new followers. Some are obvious bots or grifters and I block them, but I’d guess most of the rest are probably bots too
