Unexpected personal day and so far I have: gone for a long walk in the sunshine, enjoyed sweet mint tea, baked an apple dump cake (name needs work) and held Bernice while she napped. Fat Tuesday indeed. My cup runneth over.

Met a new cat on my walk today. They had wet feet from the snow. I suggested that they get up on their porch and lie in the sun on a towel to dry off and THEY DID. Cats are smart. And cute.
