Russia's useful idiots are a big part of the US administration, but these disposable assets have been groomed in many countries and at relatively low cost. They can be hard to find and defuse. Others are playing this game. Will/is the US be doing it in Canada?

In 1944 President FDR proposed a second bill of rights. I don't expect this history to be widely taught. He wanted to add the right to work with a living wage, to medical care, to education and social security. America might have been a truly great nation.

The US President put out one of his online statements that was terrifying. He called for people to "intimidate" the court that had not found in his favor. Then he played golf
This has been met with nearly total silence.
Is the fear of retribution stopping the media and otherwise honorable people?

I think we have almost reached situation hopeless. The US nation is under assault from countless directions and social resilience is necessarily failing.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

When does it become complicity? 100 days in, citizens are being deported, judges arrested, services cut, the rule of law failing, the Constitution is being flouted, the country is an international pariah, and yet, even though the path is clear, nobody appears to be standing up to save the nation.

Two adventurous young German women had explored New Zealand and flew on to Honolulu, planning to spend some weeks, but having only booked their first two nights. So, they were brutally detained and deported. Remember this as tourism crashes.

Part of the tariff roulette plan, isn't just shaking down investors, but by decoupling the USA from world trade, they can build a strong 1930s-like war economy. They intend to start wars.

Deeper fantasy plans for Greenland include company town developments of the sort not openly seen since Pullman. Debts to the company store provide a path to servitude. Denmark can hardly begin to stop them if they are pitched as military bases, under the 1951 treaty.
