Yes, up to a point, but I viewed MTG discuss this Congressional shield aspect. If she is correct, she could still be legally compelled to reveal her sources. There still exists a risk for the survivors. If I am wrong, blame it on MTG. 😉

They can’t on their own. They don’t have the financial resources to deal with the inevitable defamation lawsuits from these powerful people. Even if MTG had listed the names in Congress, she could still be subpoenaed to reveal her sources. Also, all the death threats the survivors would receive.

I hope gettyimages sues them - not the govt. (us taxpayers) but the individuals who were responsible for the inclusion. A civil suit with discovery!

Thank You- here in the U.S., and viewing what my personal situation could look like in my aging years, with less resources & draconian govt. cuts, it is sobering to realize my life expectancy lowered for many factors you enumerate.

And what about identity theft? There is a reason we don’t carry around in our wallets SS cards & birth certificates. Lost or stolen wallets happen.

Also, someone else coined it ‘surveillance capitalism’. Which corporations are gonna get the govt. contracts here? Again, follow the money. Who got the kickbacks for arranging it - a la Tom Homan?
