We all know that when your canine companions safety is threatened, the best protection is throwing a gold bar into the home safe.

This is also why swathes of chickens have to be killed if outbreaks happen on farms and it creates egg shortages... Cause they'd rather spend the money to wash the eggs than keep their chickens safe. 🙃

*pushes up glasses* it's also due to the fact America refuses to spend the money to vaccinate their chickens against salmonella. Instead choosing to outsource the cost of safety to stores and customers to refrigerate the eggs.

Today at a used bookshop I overheard two old women in the attached room who were sorting books. The radio had swapped to the news, qouting Seymour. Both ladies audibly groaned and said
"Oh shut up, Seymour!"
"Yes, I want to punch his fucking face."
